Hiring From Us

Contract of Hire:

Please ensure that you have read and understood the Contract of Hire document before you book. If you have any questions or would like anything clarified, please ask us!

To be able to hire from us you must:

Be aged between 22 and 75
Hold a full UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points allowed)

How to hire:

Create your booking using the Check Availability and Book Now! button below.
You will be asked for full payment at the time of booking.
Let us know what time you would like to collect the horsebox. We can normally offer the option of collecting the evening before your hire day at no extra charge, subject to availability.
On collection of the vehicle you will need to:
- Confirm your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions
- Provide £500 damage deposit pre-authorisation from your debit or credit card (£700 for 22-24 year old drivers). All drivers will be liable for the first £1000 of any damage to the horsebox during their hire period.
Each driver will also need to:
- Provide their DVLA Driving Licence “Check Code” (from 8/6/15, paper driving licences are no longer valid)
- Provide a utility bill with name and address from the last 90 days
- Complete an Insurance Questionnaire. If you have hired the horsebox within 12 months, you only need to sign a Repeat Hirer Declaration slip.
If you are a new customer, please allow up to 30 minutes for completion of paperwork and vehicle handover.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your booking at least 7 days before your hire, we will refund your hire fee, less an administration charge of £25. Cancellations less than 7 days before your hire remain liable for the full hire fee.

For the purposes of this cancellation policy, each day of a multi-day hire is treated as a separate hire.

You may wish to take out suitable insurance to cover the cost of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or injury to either horse or rider.

How to get your Driving Licence Check Code:

From 8th June 2015, the paper part of your licence is no longer valid so we need to check all driving licences via an online service provided by the DVLA.

To get your unique Check code simply visit www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence and click on the green “START NOW” Button. You will be asked to provide your Driving Licence Number, your National Insurance Number and your Post Code.

You will then be provided with a check code which is valid for 21 days. This will enable us check your licence details and any points.

If you hire the horsebox again within two months, we won't need to re-check your licence.
